It has been said that “Democracy is Government of the people by the people and for the people.” – Abraham Lincoln.
This has raised a serious dust particularly in Africa where politics is seen to be an avenue for looting, opportunity to intimidate people, among others.
However, Hon. Ekene Adams Abubakar, a humanitarian who never held a political position has been a blessing to the people, especially the people of his own Constituency, Chikun/Kajuru Local government Area, Kaduna State.
Although a prophet, they said is without honour in his own Community, but reverse is the case here, as many residents including people from other Constituencies, drums their support for the philanthropist over time, despite the heat in Nigeria’s polity, particularly Kaduna State, that has ridiculed him for some times now.
Despite all odds, the call for Ekene to come and rescue the people remains intact even as 2023 general election draws closer.
Following the call from the concerned People of Kaduna State, Hon Ekene, has made up his mind to contest for the position of the Federal House of Representatives for Chikun/Kajuru Constituency under a party that will soon be made available to the public soon, with the sole Mandate to touch more lives.
