Rivers State Governor, His Excellency, Nyesom Wike has apologized to former Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC Comrade Adams Oshiomole over his interference in Edo Governorship election in 2020.
Wike tendered the apology on Monday while Speaking in a live event, said Edo Governor, Godwin Obaseki is a serial betrayal.
According to him, Oshiomole ‘s action against Obaseki would have been the best, noted that he was wrong to had came into the affairs to help delivered Edo into the hand of Obaseki for the second time.
Recalled that Governor Obaseki has took to his social media handles, calling Wike a ‘bully’ and therefore should stay away from his State’s affairs, expressed that PDP does not belong to him, neither is Edo to be procured.

NewsPort Nigeria gathered that it is the conflict between Obaseki’s Deputy, Philip Shuaibu and Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike that fused the faced-down between the two Governors.
Reacting to Obaseki’s actions, Wike said thesame Obaseki who ran to him for assistance when APC intented to oust him out of office in 2020 has turned against him, said betrayal is in his DNA.

“He said I threatened PDP, assuming without conceding that I threatened PDP, I have every right to do so, I have invested in the party. Rivers State has invested in the party”
“Rivers State is one of the few states that has voted PDP since 1999, we have invested in the party”
“You’re a tenant in PDP, I have more stake in PDP than you”
“You said I’m causing crisis in Edo state, I have capacity, that is why I’m causing crisis.
