The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel, has received the 2023 Presidential nominations and expression of interest form from Brekete Family Members in Uyo on Thursday.
The presetation of the form to the Governor which took place at the Government House, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, had a strong delegation from the Brekete Family in Nigeria and the Diaspora.
While accepting the form, the Governor said he was humbled by the gesture of Brekete Family.
Udom expressed his willingness to serve the nation at a higher level stating that any person that has served as a governor for eight years has the capacity to lead Nigeria.
Udom further said that a twenty first century Nigeria can only be lead by a well educated, informed and enlightened Nigeria. The security challenges facing the nation needs creative solutions.
You may recall the the Brekete Family member, had penultimate week, bought the Presidential Nominations and Expression of interest form for the Akwa Ibom State government to contest for the number one spot in the 2023 Presidential Elections on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
