One of the leading Gubernatorial Aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Shehu Sani said he does not need to be someone’s favorite to win Kaduna Election, come 2023.
Shehu Sani made this known in Kaduna while interacting with Journalists at the NUJ council Secretariat in Kaduna on Tuesday.
According to him, Kaduna State have been badly governed by the ruling APC http://APC.com and as a result, Kaduna residents will not afford to miss it at the poll so as to avoid getting themselves into more difficulties.
He said his ambition is not a thing of die or die affair, urged delegate not to vote for aspirants that would forget them after election on the ground of financial status.
Shehu Sani who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone at the 8th Assembly, further stressed that his Government will bring people together across all race no matter their differences especially the two predominantly religions, Christianity and Islam for sustainable Peace and development.
The freedom fighter also said he has the capability to defeat any candidate under the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress APC if he gets the PDP ticket in the forth Party’s primary Election come, May 26th2022.
He disclosed that his administration will engage expertise in tackling the insecurity challenges bedeviling Kaduna State so as to secure the state like other northern states such as Jigawa, Bauchi, Gombe, Kano state among others.
“As opposition, we have been doing everything possible to meet with delegates on different grounds for a smooth primary Election, come 26tb of this month.
“On my own part, it is not a thing of do or die affair. I came because Kaduna State have been badly governed by the APC government. Insecurity is prevailing everywhere in the state.
“If elected as the executive governor of Kaduna State, I will answer my name as the Chief Security Officer of the state.
“Am not the type of Governor that will say the security of the state is under the Federal Government. Security will be in the hands of experts, not Journalists.
“Equally, am not going to be that kind of Governor that people would be kidnapped in Sabon-tasha or Barkallahu and when you call, nobody to answer. I will train volunteers to secure their ancestral land.
“I will also focus on our industries and how people can be empowered, provide necessary employment for the people and also provide an enabling environment for our farmers.
“Today, non of the football team in Kaduna is in the Premier League nor in the second division. Ranchers F.C, Leadway and other Kaduna teams were the best in those days but today reverse is the case. I will bring back sporting activities as a unting force to bind ourselves together.
“I will live up to my words if elected. I am not a Governor that would promise free education and increase school fees, retrench workers without paying them, pay half salary and conspire with my Media Aides to lie that I pay full,
