Hajiya Rabi disclosed this on Monday while briefing Journalists in Kaduna, said the gesture would propel more followers for her ambition.
According to her, the Councilors from 81 wards in the zone accepted her invitation just to introduce herself to them but the meeting later turned to endorsement haven briefed them about her career and struggles in life. – http://Kaduna Central Senate
She said “Yesterday to my surprise, 50 persons talking about the APC counselor’s Forum Kaduna Central that came out from 81 wards we have in the central Zone, accepted my invitation just to introduce myself to them but it turned out to be a something of joy and a historic event, because they brought out so many things that I do not even know I have. They said they have been hearing about me on social media and also on the media decorum and they endorsed me immediately. ” She said
The peace ambassador further noted that the grassroot politicians has met other aspirants whom they thought were better than her but things turned the other way during and after their interactions.
“Before they met me, they have met with others which they thought are better than me, but after they listened to my career and how I have struggled in life, they said outrightly we have endorsed you to be our candidate and all our votes are coming to you. This really made me so emotional.
“Am so happy that councillors who knows the terim of Politics, on the ground that they are very close to the people and the grassroot are the ones that believed in me to the point of endorsement. When they endorsed you like that, the population of the people that would accept you definitely will increase. so I am very happy, I am delighted and humble for their endorsement.” She added. – Kaduna Central Senate
Hajiya Rabi Salisu Ibrahim had Master Degree in Peace and Conflicts Resolutions.
She promised to sponsor bills that would affect the rural people for sustainable development.
