http://www.newsportng.com.ng Mr. Lawal Adamu has emerged the flag bearer of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone in the forth coming Election after a concluded PDP Primary election on Tuesday.
NewsPort Nigeria authoritatively monitored the party primary at the Ahmedu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.
Chairman of the PDP Primary Election, Bala Dangala announced the results at exactly 1:30:am today.
Mr. Lawal Adamu polled 99 votes to beat Ibrahim Usman, popularly known as Sardaunan Badarawa, who came second with 84 votes, alongside senator Musa Bello, at 43 votes, Hajiya Talatu Shehu scored 5, Prof. Usman Mohammed, 2 votes, while Senator Ahmad polled 15 respectively.
Break down of delegates that voted during the primary are:
Giwa LGA = 33 delegates plus 1 National Delegate. = 34, 1 rejected on the ground of proxy.
Chikun – 36 including one national delegates. =37
Birnin gwari 33 plus national delegates =34
Kajuru Local Government 30 plus one National delegate =31
Igabi = 35 delegates plus one National delegate =36
Kaduna south = 39 delegates plus one National delegate =40
Kaduna North = 36 delegates plus one National delegate = 37 rejected one vote on the ground that the individual could not be identified as true delegate.
Total number of accredited voters -250
