http://www.newsportng.cok.ng The Inter-party Advisory Council of Nigeria, (IPAC) Kaduna state chapter, has commended all political parties in Kaduna State over the peaceful conduct of primary Elections in the the state.
Chairman of the Advisory Council, Mallam Mikailu Abubukar, gave the commendations during interaction with newsmen in Kaduna, said the Political Parties conducted their primaries based on their party’s guidelines.
He said so far, the process has been peaceful, noted that the state did not witness any form of chaos at the course of the primary elections despite their aspirations.
He said “I will first of all appreciate Almighty Allah because no one lost his or her life at the course of the polity.
“Also I want to commend all the political parties because they all conducted their primary Elections based on the guidelines given to them by their Political Party. We in Kaduna State here, we can testify that the primary elections were free, fair and credible.” He said
He further called on all Political Parties in the state to ensure they conduct themselves in a peaceful manner as the general election draws closer.
“As usual we always tell them to be calm. They should conduct themselves in a manner that will lead to peaceful election both in the time of primaries and the General Elections which by main looking everything has been peaceful, fair and credible.
“We are looking forward to see same as we approach the general elections. He added.
