http://www.newsportng.com.ng One of the leading Aspirants, Chikun/Kajuru House of Representatives, Honourable Ekene Adams, has paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Highness, Esu Chikun ll, Mr Ishaku Yari.
Ekene, who was accompanied by his supporters, stated that his visit was to formally inform the monarch of his intention to run for Chikun/Kajuru constituency’s House of Representatives seat.
“I’m here to formally inform you of my decision to contest for the seat of Chikun/Kajuru House of Representatives in order to get your blessings, and for you to send me to recover all that has been taken from our people. Our Constituency has suffered immensely due to poor representation, it is high time for you to send me on a rescue mission and i promise not to disappoint you. I know the good intentions you have for our constituency and by the grace of God I’ll make sure that i become the utensil that would be used to make your intentions come to fruition,” he said.
In his response, the monarch stated that he was pleased to receive him, adding that the gesture has shown that Honourable Ekene Adams has respect for constituted authority.
The Esu Chikun, prayed for him and wished him the very best in his Political journey, even as he approach the poll, come 2023.
