http://www.newsportng.com.ng Former Nigerian Vice President, Arch. Namadi Sambo, has said that the people’s Democratic party, PDP has no better candidate than the Party’s presidential candidate, Alh. Atiku Abubukar in the 2023 general elections.
The former vice President, stated this during the inauguration of the National Mandate Group, (NMG) held in kaduna, said Atiku is a unifier whose Political pedigree is not in doubt.
Namadi who was represented by Muhammadu Rabiu Bako, appreciated the support group for their quest to birth a new Nigeria, adding that the group has come at the right time.
He said, “as we can see and understand, the group has patriotic
and concerned Nigerians, who has resolved to unite in firm belief in the unity, peace and progress of Nigeria and pursue the enthronement of true democratic values, good governance,
leadership selection, transparency, national cohesion and economic transtormation.
As you are aware, what is happening in Nigeria needs prayer and contribution of every one of us to ensure that this situation changed completely for a better Nigeria. It’s our responsibility now to ensure that we elect a better person, who will lead us in this country. One of the visions of this group is to strengthen unity and national development, Alh.
Atiku Abubakar is a unifier who wants to bring all Nigerians
together and he is not just a canddate for a particular region but a
candidate for all Nigerans. So Atiku Abubakar should be the right
candidate to vote for.” He stated.
Fielding questions from Journalists shortly after the event, Chairman of the occasion, Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha, said “we are supporting Atiku because he is more qualified and trusted compared to other presidential candidates.”
Abubukar, appealed to the Federal government to do everything possible to bring the lingering ASUU strike to an end for students to returned to school, adding that the average Nigerian has no means to send their children abroad for studies like the politicians.
In thesame vein, former PDP chairman, Kaduna state, Alh. Abubukar Haruna, expressed that the group cut across the 23-LGAs of kaduna state to help strategize and ensure the opposition Party, PDP emerges victoriously both at the state and national level, come 2023.
He charged the Coordinators to go back to their respective wards and set up formidable structures for efficient delivery.
