http://www.newsportng.com.ng In a bid to win Kaduna state for the opposition People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) in the forthcoming 2023 general elections, group under the auspices of Atiku Haske Organization, (AHO) has inaugurated coordinators in the 23-LGAs of Kaduna state.
The inauguration which took place yesterday had men from all walks of life including the former Governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Ramalan Yero, former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Comrade Shehu Sani, the founder, AHO, Abba Atiku and other PDP stakeholders.
In his remarks, the Founder, AHO Abba Atiku said the initiative is to lighten up the whole of Nigeria which for sometimes now is under the grip of darkness.
He said there is no light anywhere but in the Atiku’s presidential bid whose ambition is to salvage Nigeria and deliver the dividends of democracy to all asundry against the misrule poised on the people currently by the APC government.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after the event, the former Governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Ramalan Yero, said the Organization has done very well haven come up with such initiative to reach out to their teaming youths.
He said the awareness without doubt will yield positive response thereby giving PDP and Atiku Abubukar and other candidates under the party an edge to win Kaduna in 2023
In thesame vein, the PDP state Secretary, Hon. Ibrahim Wusono, expressed optimism that PDP will bounce back in 2023.
He said, “honestly today, we are very impressed for this step they have taken because the people especially the youths coming out to help you campaign in this kind of situation is highly commendable, it is a welcome development, we are really proud of them and they should be encouraged.
“They are doing part of our job, what we are supposed to do and of course when you look at this program and the way it was structure, you will know that they are committed to this task. They have representative in the 23-LGAs of the state and Coordinators from the over 200 wards of Kaduna state, so any message they got from here will be disseminated across board to all members of the organization.” He said
The coordinator, Kaduna state chapter of AHO Comrade Yusuf Umar, said the essence of the meeting beyond inaugurating state coordinators is also to send message to the youths and tell them the importance of voting PDP in the forthcoming general elections.
He said Nigeria and Nigerians at large need PDP now like never before and therefore there is need to vote the opposition party from top to bottom.
Yusuf called on those inaugurated to ensure they double their efforts, develop a team spirit and ensure PDP and Atiku emerged victoriously as the next president of Nigeria.
