http://www.newsportng.com.ng The gubernatorial candidate of People’s Redemption Party, (PRP) Mallam Hayatudeen Lawal Makarfi, has enjoined Christians in Kaduna state to imbibe the culture of love, unity and sacrifice during and after the Christmas celebration.
The guber candidate made the appeal in his Christmas message made available to Journalists in Kaduna, said peace joy and sacrifice are the virtues associated with the season of Christmas and as such, faithfuls must follow the teaching of Jesus Christ who gave his life for all mankind.
Hayatudeen who also called on citizens of Kaduna state to extend love to one another, said Nigeria needs prayer to overcome present challenges, urged people of goodwill to pray for the nation especially as the 2023 general elections draws closer.
While urging citizens of Kaduna state to vote in credible leaders in the forthcoming general elections, he noted that his candidature represents the mindset of the youth with passionate interest to see a united Kaduna state, that is prosperous, purposeful and creating millions of jobs and wealth, come 2023.
He said, “Greetings fellow citizens of Kaduna state, especially our Christians brethren, I wish to use this medium to extend my kindhearted season’s greetings to all of you in the entire state and Nigeria at large.
“I also wish to express my unreserved gratitude to the entire Christians leaders and faithfuls in Kaduna State for being wonderful in support of my candidacy. My candidature represents the mindset of the youth and our passionate interest to see a united Kaduna state, that is prosperous and purposeful creating millions jobs and wealth, come 2023.
“I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and that the coming year will be full of uncountable blessings and prosperity for the entire state and our country in general.
