http://www.newsportng.com.ng The Governorship candidate of Action Democratic Party, ADP Kaduna state, Alhaji Sani Sha’aban has said that the yearnings and quest for good governance from the people of Kaduna state gives him serious concern, hence the need to come and rescue his people from misrule.
Sha’aban disclosed this during an interactive session with Journalists in Kaduna on Friday, said his administration if elected will restore the lost glory of Kaduna state.
It could be recalled that Sha’aban, a gubernatorial aspirant of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and son-in-law to president Muhammadu Buhari, resigned his APC membership in Nov. 28, 2022 after the Federal high court sitting in Kaduna, said it lacked jurisdiction to entertain his case filed against the gubernatorial candidate of APC, Senator Uba Sani.
Sha’aban had filed a suit at a Federal High Court in Kaduna, challenging the legality of the May 24 primary that produced Senator Uba Sani as the APC governorship candidate, alleging that the primary was conducted without legal and due delegates.
The ADP candidate who is also one of the founding fathers of APC, stressed that disengaged teachers by Kaduna state government, traumatized parents, widows including churches and mosques contributed to print posters for him to contest the forthcoming general election, adding that everyone is committed to ensure he becomes the next Governor of Kaduna state.
He added that the God-calling has already arrived in Kaduna, while expressing optimism that his party, the ADP has become the tsunami of Nigeria starting from Kaduna state.
The ADP candidate also condemned the same faith ticket filed by the APC in Kaduna ahead of the gubernatorial election, noting that it has further divided the people and added more fire to their feet.
While challenging Muslims in Kaduna state to point out the benefits of muslim-muslim ticket by the present administration, Sha’aban said it is nothing but a disguise.
He reiterated that his challenge “is to bring back the glory of Kaduna state and nobody will take it from me because am taking it with myself to the grave.
“Widows from both Christian and Muslims donated to my campaign.
Everyone is committed to ensure I become the next governor of Kaduna state.
“The God calling has already arrived in Kaduna. I believed the right time has come. ADP has become the tsunami of Nigeria starting from Kaduna state.
“ADP is forming government in Kaduna by the grace of God.
Kaduna state is not a poor state.
We have challenges. Kaduna state can feed Nigeria, Kaduna state can feed Africa. Where are we today in terms of agriculture? we are very hungry.”
“Muslim Muslim ticket only succeeded in putting fire under our feet. My challenge is to bring back the glory of Kaduna state and nobody will take it from me because am taking it with myself to the grave.
“I challengeed people to tell me the benefits of Muslim Muslims ticket. When there is peace, there will be progress but when there is suspicion, lack of confidence you go nowhere. Kaduna state is like a raped woman by different men that has lost her voice.” He said.
Sha’aban called on all assundry to join hands with him and and take the state back so that everyone can sleep with their two eyes closed.
