http://www.newsportng.com.ng The Director of Youth Affairs Labour Party, (LP) for Obi/Datti Presidential Campaign Council, (PCC) Comrade Isah Abubukar has said that Mr. Peter Obi will win the February 25th presidential election in the North without any stress.
Isah, who is also the National President, Northern Youth Council of Nigeria, made the disclosure at the weekend, during an interaction with Journalists in Kaduna, said Nigerians are already fade up with the two major political parties in the country.
According to him, the presidential election will be a protest against the ruling All Progressive Congress, (APC) and the opposition People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) following the challenges of insecurity poised on Northern Nigeria under the two major political parties.
The Youth Director also lamented that northerners have been at the receiving end of what he termed as the decades of misrule by both the PDP and APC administration, stressing that the northern masses will not afford to make the mistake of electing another leader who will disappoint them.
Isah reiterated that the naira redesigned policy by president Muhammadu Buhari is a call to Nigerians so they can wake up from their slumber to approach the poll aggressively with their Permanent Voter’s Card, (PVC) and cast their votes for peter Obi who is a competent leader with good track records both in private and public life.
Isah said, “the major votes for labor Party is coming from the north. I am convinced that nobody have been affected in the past eight years of Buhari’s administration like the Northern Nigeria or in the past sixteen years of the PDP governornment.
“Northerners have been affected by insurgency that is still lingering in the North till this particular time.
“We still have another evil that is been spread across the north in the name of bandits kidnapping people, asking for ransom, molesting women kidnapping students from their Schools. As am talking to you now some students are still in the hands of kidnappers.
“So northerners are the most affected by the rule and maladministration of the PDP and APC governornment and because of that, northerners will surprise these two major political parties and vote for Mr. Peter Gregory Obi as the next president of Nigeria.
“People are no longer voting for party this time around. Many people are going to vote for personality and that personality that has distinguished himself among other candidates is no any other person but Mr. Peter Gregory Obi and northern Nigeria will come out en masse to spring this surprised because this is one of the election that is going to disobey history. Not what is obtainable in the past.
“We are going to have a forth right man who understands how development goes hand in hand with politics, converting our nation from consuming to a producing nation.
Isah further reiterated that, Nigeria has passed through a lot of mess in the maladministration of both APC and PDP where he stressed that poor people loots national treasure and becomes the richest in their community under four years without any trace of legitimate business.
He said Peter Obi is a national project, whose campaign is driven by youths across the country, adding that PDP and APC remains clueless and cannot offer Nigeria any good.
“For those who has eyes can see, those who has ear can hear that Nigeria have passed through a lot. In this recent time where they are glamouring for change and the two major political parties in Nigeria that has been given this opportunity to govern this country for the past twenty years have nothing to offer.
“So the victory of Peter Obi is going to be an unconditional victory, come 25th February 2022. He is the only presidential candidate whose campaign is driven by young persons and championing his course because we believe with Peter Obi a new Nigeria is very possible.
“APC and PDP has failed Nigerians woefully . Whosoever that thinks APC or the PDP has not failed Nigerians is not been kind to our country. Whosoever that think APC or PDP can do anything better than what they have done in the past twenty years that person is not been honest to our country, neither do the person love our country. That Person is not a patriot of our nation.
“We have a country where it is been run like a banana republic, where people behaves the way they want to behave, people elected poor into office and after four years in governance they go back home extremely rich without them having a farmland neither do they have a business name or anything to show where they are making money from. People loot national treasures and become the richest person in their community or their country overnight. We cannot continue on this trend.
“Nigerian women, youth and Patriots should resist any form of temptation to reshuffle this set of people back to power again come 25th February, 2023.” Isah added.
