http://www.newsportng.com.ng The Rep-elect for Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Hon. Ekene Abubakar Adams, has announced his willingness to give out ten brand new transformers to help tackle power shortage in his Constituency.
Ekene disclosed this on Wednesday in Kaduna said the people has voted for light and therefore will not allow darkness of any kind to ravage the area.
The Rep-elect noted that the gesture is a way of saying “thank you” to the people who entrusted him with their votes during the February 25th National Assembly and presidential elections that produced him as the HoR-elect, adding that his four years will compliment wasted years of bad leadership in the region.
Ekene disclosed that six of the transformers will be taken to Chikun local government areas, while the remaining four will be for the good people of Kajuru local government.
Places that will benefit from Chikun includes: Sabo Kantin Haga, Gonin Gora, Angwan Boro, Juji, Angwan Maigero and Nasarawa Down Market.
He said, “as Part Of Our Efforts In Making Life Easy For The People Of Chikun/Kajuru, We Visited so Many communities, During Our Campaign And Had Conversations With The People, We Made Our Campaign Promises To Various Communities Within Chikun/Kajuru Constituency. I Hon Ekene Abubakar Adams Is Giving Out 10 Brand New Transformers To Help In Making Life Easy For My People And My Constituency. The Following Communities Are: Sabo Kantin Haga, Gonin Gora, Angwan Boro, Juji, Angwan Maigero and Nasarawa Down Market.
These areas are having electrical hitches and my attention was called upon to assist them but I will not wait until I get into office because I know the importance of light to the human race.
“The remaining four (4) will be for the people Of Kajuru with similar electrical problem. Even though such request was not made, I deemed it fit to balance the dividends of democracy so that all in my Constituents can benefit.
“This is a self project before assuming office for May 29th. I also want to assured other affected areas to exercise patience with me as we continue to put our heads together to make life better for our people.
