http://www.newsportng.com.ng Royal Fathers in Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency has said that they will give every support needed by the new Member representing the constituency, on the platform of Labour Party, (LP) Rt. Hon. Ekene Abubakar Adams, in other for him to succeed within the space of four years in office.
The Royal Fathers, Esu Chikun, Mr. Isyaku Yari the Chief of Kufana in Kajuru Local Government Area, Mr. Titus Dauda, the Ohonyetak’Idoma, Mr. Benjamin Omale (JP) alongside others gave Ekene the assurance during a critical stakeholders’ meeting held in Abuja, on Tuesday.
Others who joined the Royal Fathers are clerics from different denominations and critical stakeholders from different Political parties, with all ready to support the Ekene’s project for sustainable growth and development in the Constituency.
One of the Royal Fathers, Titus Dauda, said Ekene before his election has been a man of the people and a man of his words and so he believe that the new Rep Member will do the same as he takes the hem of affairs.
Chief Titus said, “Don’t forget, Ekene is the people’s choice; he is the people’s mandate and we pray that he keeps the ball rolling by doing what he has been doing even before his election.”
In his remarks, the newly inaugurated Reps Member, Rt. Hon. Ekene Abubakar Adams, said he is overwhelmed by the love and support from people regardless of their Political differences.
He described the victory as a win for all, stressing that, “this mandate belongs to all of us. I only happened to be the one in the hem of affairs for the next four years.” He said.
The Federal Lawmaker also urged the Fathers, Clerics and well meaningful individuals who believes in the Chikun/Kajuru project not to shy away from calling him to order when the need arises.
He said “the season of campaign is over. It’s time to work and all hands must be on deck. My predecessor has done very well and we will consolidate on his good legacies. Governance is all about continuity. We will look into areas he didn’t do well. I will engage critical stakeholders from the various Constituency to know their pleights so I can be able to know how to come in. Don’t fail to call me to order when am going wrong because am still your son. We will try as much as possible to give back to the constituency.” He assured.
In the same vein, the Director General, Ekene Adams Campaign Council, Mr. said, “we have made several promises and so we are soliciting for your prayers so as to deliver because all eyes are on us.
“We won the election because of your cooperation and so we deemed it fit to gather you here including those who are from other camp so we can join our hands together and build for the sake of our dear constituency. He added.
