http://www.newsportng.com.ng Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has said that they will embark on nationwide strike from August, 2nd 2023 over what they termed as anti-masses policies by the federal government.
These policies according to the association includes the recent hike in the pump price of petrol, increase of tuition fees, among others.
The Labour Union has directed all its affiliates and state councils to immediately begin mobilisation of workers and other Nigerians, including civil society allies, for a long-lasting strike and mass protests should the government fail to meet its demands.
