Kaduna: Niger Delta Youth Congress Wants Tinubu To Appoint Shettima As Minister

The call is coming barely 24-hours that Nigeria Youth For Peace and Social Justice Forum made same demand from the president, citing different reasons why the Arewa Youth Leader should be considered for the position.

In a press statement personally signed by the National Coordinator, NDYC Comrade Israel Uwejeyan and made available to Journalists in Kaduna on Tuesday, the group said the call is in line with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s consistent advocacy for equitable representation and the empowerment of various regions and demographics and therefore it becomes pertinent to respectfully implore Mr. President to consider Shettima as a worthy candidate for the ministerial portfolio from Kaduna State.
Israel also noted that the pages of history bears witness to the profound impact of Shettima’s activism, a journey that traces its roots back to the turbulent military era of Nigeria, while reiterating that with valor and tenacity, Shettima lent his voice and efforts to the noble struggle for democracy, standing resolute against the forces that sought to stifle the voice of the people.
