NFFA: New Vice Chairman promises to harness potentials for economic growth

http://www.newsportng.com.ng Newly inaugurated chairman of the Nigerian Film Festival Association, (NFFA) Mr. Israel Yashim Audu has reiterated his commitment to harness potentials that would address the political, economic and sociocultural issues bothering Nigeria as a nation.
Audu made the recommitment shortly after he was saddled with the responsibility to lead the NFFA for the next phase as the Vice Chairman, said differences and other disadvantages that posed division in the country can be leverage upon for positive growth.
The NFFA Vice Chairman who is also the founder of Kaduna International Film Festival (KADIFF) stressed that entertainment is key to joy and excitement especially in contemporary society where reported cases of depression is on the increase.
Other Members of the new executives of NFFA are, Mr. Uche Agbo Chairman, Victor Thompson General Secretary, Obuje Oliver Daniel Financial Secretary, Kate Ezeigbo Publicity Secretary and Musa Gambo in the office of the Provost.
The one day event at the popular Yar’adua Centre Abuja, had so many Dignitaries in attendance, with the promise to give their helping hands to the association for sustainable growth.
Some of the distinguished personalities are, the First Lady of Kwara state and Chairperson Nigerian Governor’s Spouse Forum, Her Excellency, Amb. Prof. Olufolake Abdulrazaq, His Excellency Alfredo Miranda Ambassador of Mexico in Nigeria, Her Excellency Miriam Morales Ambassador of Cuba to Nigeria, Representatives from UNESCO Abuja, NATCOM-UNESCO, Nigerian film corporation, NFC, Dr. Dahiru Bala, regional manager North West Bank of industry, Dr. Shuaibu Husseini DG National film and Video censors board, Representative of the Ambassador of Finland to Nigeria Her Excellency Leena Pylvanainen, the chief of mission International organization for migration IOM, Mr. De Boeck Laurent, amongst others.
