Kajuru Attack: Hon. Ekene visits victims, assures Community of government intervention

Ekene Abubakar Adams has paid a courtesy visit to Buda Community in Kajuru Local Government area of Kaduna state to commiserate with them over the unfortunate incident that led to the abduction of over 60 persons in the community.
The Chairman House Committee on Sports while sympathizing with residents of the area assured the people of government determination to put an end to the security challenges bedeviling the state and the country in general. In his words, “the government is working tirelessly to ensure people sleep with their two eyes closed without fear of being kidnapped”.
The Member who visited the only health facility in the community pledged to capture the clinic in the 2024 constituency projects by ensuring the community enjoys dividends of democracy through renovation of the health care center and provisions of drugs which is part of his 2024 projects.
Two of the victims of the bandits onslaught who are currently receiving treatment at Bege clinic at Maraban Kajuru were also visited with their medical bills settled apart from cash donated to their families for the upkeep of the patients.
The Lawmaker enjoined the people not to lose hope as their loved ones would soon be united with them.
Reacting to the visit, the Councilor representing the ward, Abubakar Buda, said that they are impressed to see the Lawmaker despite his health condition.
Abubakar explained that the bandits stormed the community in their large numbers, moved from house to house to kidnap the residents, shooting sporadically, adding that the intervention of the military prevented the bandits from taking away more people.
He also stressed that some members of the community sustained varying degrees of injuries while trying to escape from being abducted.
