Arewa Group passes vote of confidence on Tinubu, Service Chiefs, NSA
http://www.newsportng.com.ng Northern Group, the Arewa Concerned Citizens Forum, (ACCF), has declared its unwavering support for the Service Chiefs, the National Security Adviser (NSA), and the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Coalition, cuts across the 19 Northern states of the Federation, also passed a vote of confidence on the president Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s led administration.
In a press statement jointly signed by the Conveners, Mal Adamu Abubakar and Dr. Victor Bobai, and other executives, Ibrahim Kolo, Moses Enenche, Mariam Funtua, and Adeyemi Faith, the ACCF condemned the recent #EndBadGovernance protest that was marred by violence that led to the destruction of lives and properties.
The group also commended the NSA, Nuhu Ribadu, for his revelation that over N83 billion in cryptocurrency and fiat money was traced to sponsors of the protests, adding that the forum expressed its support for the government’s efforts to block the funds and arrest those involved in the protests.
They called on the leadership of the Senate and House of Representatives to take swift and decisive action against what they described as sponsored protests to expose and sanction the sponsors of the protests without any delay.
“We, members of the Arewa Concerned Citizens Forum (ACCF), hereby propose and support the motion to stand in solidarity with President Bola Tinubu amidst the sponsored protests aimed at ridiculing him and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“ACCF condemned the recent #EndBadGovernance protests, which were marred by violence and destruction of property.
“We also commended the NSA, Nuhu Ribadu, for his revelation that over N83 billion in cryptocurrency and fiat money was traced to sponsors of the protests. The forum expressed its support for the government’s efforts to block the funds and arrest those involved in the protests.
