http://www.newsportng.com.ng Your passing one month ago leaves a gaping hole as we were thrown into dark; confusion trailed, overwhelmed, disoriented and battered by the sudden incidence: The demise of a True Leader.
As a Lawmaker, you worked tirelessly to shape a better future for our community, leaving behind a legacy of progressive legislation and positive change. Your dedication to the well-being of citizens was inspiring, and your leadership will be deeply missed.
Working with you was Divine and I appreciate God for the privilege of quality time spent together, not even as a Boss, but “Friend” like you called me.
Though your time with us was brief, your impact will be felt for eternity. You saw a better future and worked tirelessly to make it a reality – “Government of the people by the people and for the people,” where dividends of democracy was deeply felt at the grassroot, while on sick bed and even after your demise.
You served humanity with passion, courage, even with your life; leaving no stone unturned.
Death may have taken you from us, but your ideas, passion, and vision will never die. They will continue to inspire and motivate us to create a better world.
The greatest tragedy is not death, but a life unfulfilled. We are grateful, that though we mourn your departure like there is no more hope, your vision, impact to lives will continue to inspire generations.
We will continue to take comfort in the memories of your accomplishments. We take solace in your generosity and kindness of spirit that has inspired us to strive for a more just and equitable society.
Visionary leaders like you, are rare Sir!
