Shehu of Borno Expresses Gratitude to Tejuosho for Flood Relief Efforts

In a letter dated October 23, 2024, the Shehu expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Borno Emirate Council and the community, acknowledging Dr. Tejuosho’s visit and contributions during a challenging period.
“Your kindness and generosity made a tangible difference in the lives of those affected, helping to provide food, shelter, and hope,” he stated.
The floods have left many residents in distress, but the response from Dr. Tejuosho and other benefactors has been a source of solace. The Shehu emphasized that the collective resolve of the community, bolstered by such acts of philanthropy, has been crucial in initiating the recovery and rebuilding process.
“This spirit of generosity reinforces our belief in the strength of our community,” he wrote, highlighting the resilience and compassion that emerge in times of crisis. “It is a true testament to human resilience, reminding us that we are never alone, even in our darkest moments.”
The Shehu concluded his letter with a prayer for continued support and collaboration among community members and stakeholders, wishing Dr. Tejuosho abundant rewards for her unwavering assistance.
It could be recalled that the philanthropist was among the likes of Aliko Dangote, Alhaji Aminu Dantata and others, who made donations to Borno state during the recent flood disaster that ravaged the state.
Tejuosho, aside the millions of Naira donated to the state also shared relief materials, including bedsheets, mats, mattresses, and food items like indomie, spaghetti amongst others to the distressed victims.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time the QAT Foundation Boss is carrying out this kind of gesture as she had earlier empowered thousands of youths in Kaduna, Abuja, Jos and other states across the country, an act that made several groups rooted for her candidature as Humanitarian Affairs Minister before president Bola Ahmed Tinubu appointed Nentawe Yiltawa.
As Borno begins to heal from the aftermath of the floods, the commitment shown by individuals like Dr. Tejuosho plays a vital role in fostering hope and rebuilding lives.
