Breaking: Kaduna Police rescues 23 kidnapped victims of Kauru

In a statement issued on Sunday evening, the command’s spokesperson DSP Mansur Hassan confirmed that the rescue operation was carried out following intelligence reports and strategic interventions by security operatives.
According to the statement, the victims, who had been abducted by suspected bandits, were freed unharmed after a coordinated effort by the police and local security personnel. The operation was part of ongoing measures to combat criminal activities in the state.
“The Kaduna State Police Command remains committed to ensuring the safety of residents. Our officers acted swiftly based on credible intelligence, leading to the successful rescue of these victims,” the spokesperson stated.
Upon their release, the rescued individuals were taken for medical examinations before being reunited with their families. The police assured that efforts were ongoing to track down the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
Residents of Kauru LGA have commended the security forces for their swift response, urging continued efforts to rid the area of criminal elements.
