Volleyball: Nigeria, UAE To Sign Pact Oct 31 – Nimrod

http://www.newsportng.com.ng In an avowed move to ensure the game of volleyball is further developed in the country, the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) and it’s counterpart in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), will be signing a pact on October 31 this year.
This was disclosed by the President of the NVBF, Engineer Musa Nimrod, when the President of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Isaiah Kemje Benjamin, visited him to present three letters at his Kaduna office on Saturday, ahead of the much anticipated SWAN @60, billed for Abuja ending this month.
“Nigeria is making huge progress in the development of the game of volleyball and several countries are willing to support us to further develop the game in the country.
“We are excited that UAE is one of those countries and I would be traveling there on October 31 to sign partnership deals,” he disclosed.
Nimrod who recently won an unprecedented third term as NVBF President unopposed, praised all those that have been contributing to the development of the game in the country.
He is optimistic that in no distant time, volleyball would be one of the dominant sports in the country, pointing out that already, they are engaging in grassroots development of the game.
