The Concerned Northern Forum (CNF) has lauded the appointment of Senator Anyim Pius Anyim as South-East Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Initiative by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing it as a strategic and well-deserved choice.
In a statement signed by the CNF spokesperson, Comrade Abdulsalam Mohammed Kazeem, the forum noted that Anyim’s decades-long record of public service, unparalleled political experience, and national reach make him uniquely qualified to lead the initiative in the South-East.
According to CNF, “Senator Anyim Pius Anyim’s appointment reflects his exceptional capacity, vision, and unwavering commitment to the progress of Nigeria.
“As the only politician from the South-East with a structured political network spanning all 777 local government areas of the federation, he brings unmatched experience in governance, diplomacy, and strategic coordination that will be invaluable in advancing the objectives of the Renewed Hope Initiative.”
The statement added, “Anyim’s tenure as Senate President and Secretary to the Government of the Federation demonstrates his profound understanding of national politics and his ability to build bridges across regions and communities. This appointment is not only a recognition of his personal achievements but also an affirmation of the South-East’s vital role in shaping national development.”
Comrade Kazeem further stated, “As President Tinubu inaugurates the Renewed Hope Initiative committees across the six geopolitical zones, we are confident that Senator Anyim will leverage his vast network, experience, and statesmanship to drive meaningful and people-centered outcomes across the South-East.
