Jesus Crusade Kicks Off in Kaduna as Du Toit Preaches Hope Amid National Challenges

Kaduna witnessed a surge of spiritual energy on Wednesday as internationally renowned evangelist Daniel du Toit officially launched a five-day Jesus Crusade, delivering a message of hope and renewal to Nigerians amid ongoing insecurity and national challenges.

The crusade is organised by Take The Nations (TTN) in partnership with the Kaduna State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

Speaking to journalists in Kaduna at the start of the crusade, Du Toit, the Convener and protege’ of late renowned Evangelist, Reinhard Bonnke emphasised that the outreach extends beyond Kaduna, addressing national concerns and the spiritual well-being of Nigerians.

He said, “We have come to bring hope to this city and this nation. Even though Nigeria is facing insecurity and many challenges, there is still great hope. The Bible says darkness cannot overcome light. Nigeria belongs to God and the plans of the enemy will not prevail. God has a great plan for this nation, and its brightest days are ahead.”

Du Toit urged Nigerians to remain steadfast in prayer and to trust in God’s plan for the country. “To Nigerians, I want to say: be strong in the Lord. God sees the cry of His people. The prayer of a righteous man prevails. Great prosperity and great light are coming to this nation,” he added.

The protocol officer for the crusade, Rev. Stephen Samson, described the event as a significant spiritual intervention at a critical moment in Nigeria’s history.

“This crusade is more than a local gathering; it is a call to national renewal. Daniel du Toit has been called by God to bring hope, healing, and deliverance to the people,” Samson said. “He has prayed for years to come to Nigeria, and now that prayer has been answered. After Kaduna, he will continue to Jos and other locations.”

He assured Nigerians that the crusade will feature healing, deliverance, salvation, and testimonies of what they describe as signs and wonders. The event has already drawn participants from across Kaduna State and neighbouring regions, reflecting the deep yearning for spiritual encouragement and national renewal.
