Dr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, leader of the Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim FRONT 2027 movement and a leading contender for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential ticket, has commiserated with his Kaduna State Coordinator, Hon. Aliyu Muhammad Kachan (Achili), over the death of his mother, Hajiya Hadiza Muhammad Kachan, who passed away on Saturday in Kaduna at the age of 98.
In a condolence message issued through his Kaduna State PR and Media Manager, Sharifudeen Ibrahim Muhammad, Dr. Olawepo-Hashim described the late Hajiya Hadiza as a devoted Muslim, a compassionate mother and a philanthropist whose life was dedicated to the service of humanity. She was particularly remembered for her kindness and generosity to orphans, widows and the less privileged.
He prayed for Allah’s mercy and forgiveness upon her soul, asking the Almighty to grant her eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus and give her family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
As a mark of solidarity, Olawepo-Hashim dispatched a high-powered delegation led by his Chief of Staff, Malam Kamaldeen Adebayo, to condole with Hon. Kachan’s family and the wider Kaduna community.
The gesture, according to the statement, reflects his compassionate leadership style and commitment to standing with his associates in both joy and grief.
He noted that the passing of Hajiya Hadiza is not only a loss to her immediate family but also to the Kaduna community and the GOH-FRONT 2027 movement, stressing that her legacy of service and generosity will continue to inspire future generations.
Similarly, the Kaduna State chapter of GOH-FRONT 2027, led by the Zone One Coordinator, Hon. Sa’ad Shehu Zaria, also conveyed condolences to the family, praying for Allah to grant them peace, strength and comfort in this period of mourning.
