Infrastructure: Over 40 Projects Delivered in Borno as Zulum reveals achievements

The executive Governor of Borno State, His Excellency, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, has revealed over fourty road project in his first tenure in office.

This was contained in a statement made available to Journalists on Thursday by the management of the Borno state roads maintenance agency BORMA led by its executive Chairman Engr Sadu Auno, said the administration has so far constructed and rehabilitated more than 40 roads within the state.

 

Engr Auno while going round some road projects within Maiduguri the state capital accompanied by the permanent secretary of the agency Engr Gujibawu Fnse also stated that the agency also procured modern road construction equipments as well as Establishment of 2 new asphalt blending plant along Gubio road and Molai.

He thanked His Excellency Prof Engr Babagana Umara Zulum, for all the support he has been given to the agency which made it possible for them to accomplish these projects. Other new projects will soon commence in the coming year 2022 both within and outside the state capital he said. Below are the list of completed and ongoing road Projects.

1. Gomari old Airport phase I: Construction of 2.8Km of road and drainage

2. Gomari old Airport phase II: Construction of 3.8Km of road and drainage

3. Construction of 2.8Km of road at Umarari, Bolori II.

4. Rehabiltation of portholes within MMC/Jere

5. Construction of 2.1Km of road and drainage at Zannari

6. Construction of bridge, drainage, and 850M of road at Moromoro

7. Overlaying of road from Ibrahim Ali junction to Royal hospital along Giwa Barrack 2.3Km.

8. Overlaying of Ibrahim Ali to Modu Gmabo road 1.4Km

9. Overlaying of road from old Welcome to Maiduguri down to Bolori round about double lane 2.6Km

10. Overlaying of road from Bolori round about to Atal clinic along Polo, double lane

11. construction of new road from new stadium to Dala 3.8Km

12. Overlaying of road from Shehu’s round about to Makera 700M

13. overlaying of road at Abaganaram Gidan Yashi 700M

14. Overlaying of Mairari road in Shehuri South 472M
