Yemi Osinbajo disclosed this on Sunday night, while meeting with the APC State’s National Delegates at the Murtala Square, in Kaduna.

The professor of Law said, the rationale behind his ambition is to move Nigeria forward, Said he would not need to study the country like other aspirants before taking steps.

He said hence he is already in the system as Vice President, he has gathered relevant experiences tantamount to the growth and development of the country, solicited that the delegates vote for the right candidate during the party primary elections.

“When President Muhammadu Buhari handed over power to me before one of his visits to London, I asked the President whether to report directly to him, but the President responded that I am in charge.

“And during President’s visit to London, I was able to attend to complex and sensitive issues that showcased my capabilities to move the country forward”

He further promised to invest in agriculture, improve infrastructures among others for sustainable growth and development.

Recalled, that the vice president, professor Yemi Osinbajo, earlier on despite all the assertions from different quarters that he may not want to drag the APC ticket against the National Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, came out to declare his interest for the presidential seat last month.
